Dear Members,
As the holiday season is upon us, I’d like to take moment to thank all of you for the hard work you’ve put forward in your respective workplaces and for our Local over the course of this past year.
On behalf of myself and the Executive of the Local, we look forward to speaking with you, engaging with you and continuing to build a stronger presence for our union as we roll into 2017. We’ve fought many battles with respective employers; we’ve successfully negotiated many collective agreements within the local and petitioned many grievances to resolution… however this is just the day to day of what we are all about. With the new year upon us, we will be looking to you, the membership to step up and engage, participate and live union life with us. We’ve got much work ahead, many campaigns to address and many issues to ensure remain on the dockets both on the local, provincial and national level, we can’t take all this on without you, the membership. We look forward to seeing you there…
