CUPE 4705 2018 ELECTIONS - Update

The 2018 CUPE 4705 elections are beginning soon.

All members are to receive their voting information in a package mailed to their home address, containing a unique identifier and password, which is needed to cast your vote on-line.

**New Employees (last 2 months) should contact the Chief Returning Officer to see if you were on the mailing list**

Voting is open from November 8, 2018 at 12:01 am and will remain open until November 14, 2018 at 11:59 pm.

*** Please note there are no paper ballots/voting stations***

Internet access will be made available to 4705 members who wish to attend at the Local Hall in Copper Cliff between 8:30am-4:30pm Nov 8th ,9th ,13th & 14th .

If a member needs assistance with the voting process, arrangements can be made for another 4705 member to assist when given notice ahead. You must bring your package with your unique identifier and password.

It has been approved by the Employer (CGS) for the ‘Inside and Outside’ Bargaining Units that if you have access to the internet at work you can vote on your breaks or lunches MSDSB Bargaining Unit has also confirmed voting can occur at work on breaks and lunches.

Results will be announced at the General Membership Meeting November 15, 2018, and posted shortly thereafter on our website and Facebook page.

Packages have been mailed out as of Nov 1/2018

Please check with the Union Hall if you have had a change of address and your mail has been returned there.

Replacement Ballots can be requested beginning Nov 9/2018 –by contacting Carol Landrye with your name, your Bargaining Unit, and an email address at Carol.Landrye@greatersudbury.ca or 3-1-1 ext 2452
